I have been a licensed geometra since 2012, registered with the Collegio dei Geometri della Provincia di Lucca (n. 2329) and with the Court of Lucca as a court-appointed technical expert.
My studio, Studio Tecnico Pieroni, is in Fornaci di Barga, in the Media Valle del Serchio — the valley connecting Lucca with the Garfagnana highlands. I work across the Province of Lucca and throughout Tuscany.
I have worked with international buyers since the early years of the practice. Everything I produce for you is in English as well as Italian: reports, correspondence, permit documentation and site communications.
When you buy in Italy, you rely on the agent who found the house, the notary who completes the deed, perhaps a lawyer the agent suggested. Each of them has an interest in the sale going through. I am the one person who has no stake in which property you buy — only in making sure you buy it with your eyes open.
